This roster was originally compiled as part of the disposition roster for the second volume of my book "The Feather River Route, Volume II." The roster was updated in 1994 during preparation of an article on WP's GP40 fleet for Pacific RailNews magazine but was not included by the publisher when that monograph finally saw print in April of 1996.

WP GP40-2 3557 is ready to depart Oroville, CA. in July of 1980.

1. Units 3501-3516 were rebuilt by Morrison/Knudsen and were the last of the GP40s to be disposed of by UP.
