San Jose to Oakdale, then interchange to the Sierra Railroad for a steam-powered run to Ralph and the Pickering Lumber Company! In the photo above we clearly see Car 2901 (the FOO Car) bringing up the markers near Chinese. Further east, at Ralph (Sierra Mile 55) we catch the special nearing the Pickering Lumber interchange.
