Afternoon Train 715 blasts by Castle Air Museum in the town of Atwater on April 27, 2004. The train is in push mode as it heads towards its' next station stop in Denair. Interestingly, San Joaquin trains have no specific orientation as to which direction is lead by a locomotive, as most push-pull operations do. Railfans never know from day to day whiich trains will have a unit leading or trailing.
