In addition to the initial nine F59PHI locomotives ordered by CalTrans, the agency also took delivery of a pair of B32-CH units from General Electric. CDTX 2051-2052 were built in 1992 and delivered as Amtrak 501-502 in full "Pepsi Can" regalia. To differentiate them the units were sublettered "CT" indicating CalTrans ownership. In this photo CDTX 2052 (a.k.a. ATK 502) passes BNSF 1111 at the east end of Riverbank Yard August of 2000.
